"Good intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority ... the Constitution was made to guard against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters." - Noah Webster

"There is no worse tyranny than forcing a man to pay for what he does not want just because you think it would be good for him."
-- Robert A. Heinlein

Back online again

To say that my life is a strange adventure would be a huge understatement.  Something akin to describing our government's spending as being less than frugal.

I'm somewhere in the middle of the United States.  The only hint I will give you is that I'm in a state that ranks number one for being bordered by the most states.

I am currently unemployed and looking for a job nearby.  I have no vehicle. My license was suspended.  May never get a license again of my own choice.  I don't know if this country will even survive past my suspension period anyway.

I'll be thinking about what to post, and hopefully will have something fresh to read soon.
