"Good intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority ... the Constitution was made to guard against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters." - Noah Webster

"There is no worse tyranny than forcing a man to pay for what he does not want just because you think it would be good for him."

Exhile for Gwyneth

I can't go so far as to say that there is no such thing as a conservative who might say something so outrageous and stupid as wishing that their favorite person or politician, be it Palin or McCain, or Limbaugh, or Bush, or Reagan or who ever you can think of, had been granted dictatorial powers to do whatever they wanted.

Wait a minute.

Yes.  Yes I can.

I can say that no real conservative would ever wish such a stupid thing.  Maybe you know a phony conservative.  They are everywhere.  They exist as people who still believe that George W. Bush was a good president.  They exist as people who think that we can just brush under the rug the idea that Rand Paul tried to silence a reporter who told the truth

But I digress.

I can't make Gwyneth Paltrow do anything.  But if I could have my way, I would send her to China.  The government of China has all the power they need to do anything and everything necessary to provide for the care and feeding of the people of China.

Of course, that may be too expensive.

Tell you what; let's send Gwyneth to Cuba.

Raul Castro has all the power.  He can see to it that all the people who live in Cuba can live in a worker's paradise.
